As to the Gasoline and Motor Vehicle Revenue
Account of the Transportation Trust fund, see
§8-402 of this article.
As to funds collected by the District Court,
see CJ §§ 1-605(d)(5), 1-608, and 7-302.
12-119. CONTINUATION AND CHANGE OF RULES, FORMS, ORDERS,
AND DIRECTIVES; REFERENCES TO DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR
VEHICLES AND COMMISSIONER OF MOTOR VEHICLES.
EVERY RULE, REGULATION, FORM, ORDER, AND DIRECTIVE
ADOPTED BY OR RELATING TO THE FORMER DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR
VEHICLES OR THE COMMISSIONER OF MOTOR VEHICLES REMAINS IN
EFFECT UNTIL CHANGED BY THE ADMINISTRATION OR THE
SECRETARY. EVERY REFERENCE IN THIS CODE, ANY OTHER LAW,
ORDINANCE, RESOLUTION, RULE, REGULATION, ORDER,
DIRECTIVE, LEGAL ACTION, CONTRACT, OR ANY OTHER DOCUMENT
TO THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES OR THE COMMISSIONER
OF MOTOR VEHICLES MEANS THE ADMINISTRATION OR THE
ADMINISTRATOR, RESPECTIVELY.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 41, §207E(c) and (d).
In the first sentence of this section, the
present reference to "June 30, 1971" is
deleted as unnecessary; and, in the second
sentence, the word "order" is added to conform
to the similar provisions appearing in §2—107
of the Agriculture Article as well as the
reference to an "order" in the first sentence
of this section.
The only other changes are in style.
Although the revision of this article deletes
all references to abolished units, obsolete
references to the Department of Motor Vehicles
or the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may
remain in other articles of the Code as well
as in various rules, regulations, forms, and
the like. For this reason, this section is
retained.
