THE ADMINISTRATION MAY ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS
TO CARRY OUT: (1)   THOSE PROVISIONS OF THE MARYLAND VEHICLE
LAW THAT RELATE TO OR ARE ADMINISTERED AND ENFORCED BY
THE ADMINISTRATION; AND (2)   THE PROVISIONS OF ANY OTHER LAW THAT THE
ADMINISTRATION IS AUTHORIZED TO ADMINISTER AND ENFORCE. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived from Art. 66 1/2, §2-307(b) and
revised to conform to similar provisions of
this article as to comparable units in the
Department.             (See, e.g., §§ 6—205(b) and 7-205(b).) (C) MAINTENANCE OF OFFICES. THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL MAINTAIN AS MANY OFFICES
IN THIS STATE AS THE ADMINISTRATOR CONSIDERS NECESSARY
TO CARRY OUT THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE ADMINISTRATION.            EACH OFFICE SHALL BE OPEN DAILY, EXCEPT FOR SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, AND HOLIDAYS, DURING THE
HOURS THAT THE SECRETARY REQUIRES. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §2-308. The only changes are in style. (D) DEPUTIES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES. (1)           WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE SECRETARY, THE
ADMINISTRATION SHALL EMPLOY THE DEPUTIES, SUBORDINATE
OFFICERS, CLERKS, INVESTIGATORS, AND OTHER EMPLOYEES
NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE
ADMINISTRATION. (2)        EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW, EACH
DEPUTY, OFFICER, AND EMPLOYEE OF THE ADMINISTRATION: (I)           IS EMPLOYED UNDER THE STATE MERIT SYSTEM
LAW; AND (II)        IS ENTITLED TO THE SALARY PROVIDED IN
THE PAY PLAN ESTABLISHED UNDER ARTICLE 64A, §27 OF THE
CODE. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived without substantive change from Art.
66 1/2, §§ 2-304 and 2-306. 12-105. FORMS FOR DOCUMENTS AND NOTICES. THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL PREPARE AND PROVIDE
SUITABLE FORMS FOR ALL APPLICATIONS, CERTIFICATES OF TITLE, REGISTRATION CARDS, NOTICES OF SECURITY INTERESTS,
