This term is obsolete for purposes of the Maryland
Vehicle Law and is used in but one section of present
Art. 66 1/2: §3—831. Even in that section, it is
unnecessary in light of the definition of "security
agreement" (see §11-156 of this subtitle), which, in the
revision of present §3-831, has been substituted for
"lien contract" (see, §13-810 (b) (2) of this article).
(11) Art. 66 1/2, §1-143 ("Limited Access
Highway"). The term is deleted in favor of the
identically defined "controlled access highway" (see,
§21-101 of this article), which is the more modern usage
and has been used consistently in the Maryland Vehicle
Law.
(12) Art. 66 1/2, §1-148.1 ("Motor Home").
The term is not found anywhere in present Art. 66 1/2 and
has not been used in its revision. The definition was
first introduced by House Bill 574 of the 1973 Regular
Session of the General Assembly; however, that bill was
amended before enactment (Ch. 553, Acts of 1973) to
delete all references to the term, thereby rendering the
retained definition superfluous.
(13) Art. 66 1/2, §1-160 ("Person"). The
definition is deleted in favor of the standard definition
of "person" in §1-101 of this article.
(14) Art. 66 1/2, §1-161 ("Pneumatic Tire").
The term is obsolete for purposes of the Maryland Vehicle
Law and no longer is used in it.
(15) Art. 66 1/2, §1-169 ("Registered").
This definition is deleted as unnecessary in light of the
general provisions of Art. 1, §20 of the Code to the same
effect.
(16) Art. 66 1/2, §1-176 ("Road Tractor").
The term is not found anywhere in present Art. 66 1/2,
and has not been used in its revision.
(17) Art. 66 1/2, §1-194 ("Streetcar"). This
term is obsolete for purposes of the Maryland Vehicle Law
and no longer is used in it.
(18) Art. 66 1/2, §1-205.1 ("Truck Camper").
