2-305. RULES AND REGULATIONS.
(A) ADOPTION.
THE BOARD SHALL ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS TO CARRY
OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE.
(3) SIMILARITY WITH THOSE OF GENERAL BOARD.
THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD UNDER
THIS SECTION AND THOSE ADOPTED BY THE GENERAL
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SELECTION BOARD UNDER ART. 41,
§231R OF THE CODE SHALL PROVIDE FOR SUBSTANTIALLY THE
SAME PROCEDURES.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 41, §231N
(d).
The present requirement that the rules and
regulations toe adopted "{w}ithin 90 days after
the effective date of this act" is deleted as
obsolete.
2-306. ADVISORY SERVICES OF BOARD.
ON REQUEST OF A SCHOOL BOARD OR POLITICAL
SUBDIVISION OF THIS STATE, THE BOARD MAY PROVIDE ADVISORY
SERVICES IN PROCURING ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING
SERVICES. THE SCHOOL BOARD OR POLITICAL SUBDIVISION
SHALL REIMBURSE THE BOARD FOR THE COSTS OF THESE
SERVICES.
REVISOR'S NOTE; This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 41,
§23lP(d)(5).
The present references to a "municipality" and
"county" are deleted as unnecessary in light
of the broad reference to a "political
subdivision of this State".
2-307. REQUEST TO BOARD FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
REQUIRED.
(A) PRESENTMENT OF REQUEST TO BOARD.
A TRANSPORTATION AGENCY THAT DESIRES TO PROCURE
ARCHITECTURAL OR ENGINEERING SERVICES COSTING OVER
$25,000 SHALL PRESENT THE REQUEST TO THE BOARD AT A
PUBLIC MEETING.
