CHARTER RESOLUTION NO. 76-1
WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Carroll
County is planning to publish a new and revised Code of
Public Local Laws of Carroll County, which will include
the Charter of the City of Westminster; and
WHEREAS there are several provisions of the existing
Charter of the City of Westminster that require revision
by reason of changes in the State Law, changes in the
names of several of the administrative departments of the
State of Maryland and for the further purpose of
eliminating from the Charter certain obsolete provisions;
and
WHEREAS the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
Westminster deem it advisable to revise the Charter of
the City of Westminster prior to the publication of the
proposed Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll County;
