RESOLUTION NO. 67
RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of
Cumberland, Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority
contained in Article 11—E of the Constitution of the
State of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Municipal
Corporations", entitled "A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND (1966 EDITION), BEING
ARTICLE 1A OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND,
BY REPEALING AND REENACTING, WITH AMENDMENTS, SUBSECTIONS
(g), (h) AND (i) OF SECTION 36, FOUND UNDER THE TITLE
'CIVIL SERVICE - POLICE AND FIRE', AND BY ADDING A NEW
SECTION TO SAID CHARTER TO CONFORM WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
ARTICLE 27, SECTION 727, ET SEQ., OF THE ANNOTATED CODE
OF MARYLAND, ENTITLED 'LAW-ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS - BILL OF
RIGHTS.'"
