Maryland adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E
of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as
amended), titled "Corporation — Municipal", to amend the
Charter of The Commissioners of Cambridge by repealing
and reenacting, with amendments, Subsection (a) entitled
"Work Authorized" of Section 3—29 entitled "Powers as to
Streets" of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
entitled "Dorchester County, subtitled "Cambridge"
providing for the closing of streets in the City of
Cambridge.
[Section 3—29 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Dorchester County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
Effective Date May 25, 1976]

CAPITOL HEIGHTS

RESOLUTION 76-2
"To extend and increase the corporate limits of the Town
of Capitol Heights, County of Prince George's, State of
Maryland, annexing thereto a certain tract of land
contiguous to and not embraced within the present limits
of the Town of Capitol Heights.
WHEREAS, The Town of Capitol Heights, Maryland, a
Municipal Corporation, is desirous of enlarging and
adding to the corporate boundaries thereof certain land
which is contiguous and adjoining to the existing
corporate area, and;
WHEREAS; The mayor and Common Council by agreement
with Ruth Powell Strine, sole owner of certain
hereinafter described tract of improved real property
contiguous and adjoining the present boundaries of the
Corporate limits of the Town of Capitol Heights,
hereinafter referred to as parcel one:
And WHEREAS; the Mayor and Common Council by
agreement with Louis J. and Anna T. Carullo, sole owners
of certain hereinafter described tract of unimproved real
property contiguous and adjoining the present boundaries
of the corporate limits of Capitol Heights, hereinafter
referred to as parcel two.
And WHEREAS; the owners and sole residents within
the said area of land to be annexed, Ruth Powell Strine,
and Louis J. and Anna T. Carullo, has by agreement
proposed to the Town of Capitol Heights, Maryland that
said land be annexed subject to certain stated
conditions, namely, (a) that the Town will not impose
