CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. R-3-75
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWIE,
MARYLAND adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E
of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as
amended) to amend Subsection C of Section 67 entitled
"Practices Prohibited Under Merit System", said
Subsection being Subsection C of Section 5 — 68 of
Subtitle 5 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1963 Edition, as amended), which Article
contains in whole or part the Charter of the City of
Bowie, by repealing and reenacting with amendment said
Subsection C providing for the deletion of specific
language restricting any person holding any city office
or position from having outside business interests in
commercial enterprises doing business with the City.
[Section 5—68(c) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
Effective Date February 10, 1976]

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. R-4-75
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWIE,
MARYLAND adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E
of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as
amended) to amend Section 2 9 entitled "Nominating
Procedures" said Section being Section 5—29 of Subtitle 5
of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (196 3 Edition, as amended) , which Article
contains in whole or in part the Charter of the City of
Bowie, by repealing and reenacting with amendment said
Section 29 providing for the addition of specific
language relative to the nomination procedures of persons
to elective office in the City of Bowie.
[Section 5-29 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
Effective Date February 10, 1976]
