effective date of this Order will be assigned a
ten—digit identification number as follows: the
first two numerals shall be "01" indicating the
Executive Department; followed by the two numerals
"01" indicating the Governor's Office; followed by
the four numerals indicating the year in which the
Order is issued; and followed by two numerals,
beginning in each new year with "01" and continuing
sequentially throughout the year.
3. The following Executive Orders are
deemed to be wholly obsolete and are hereby
rescinded:
a. Executive Order 01-01.1969-02, which was
issued on January 29, 1969 and extended
the Governor's Operating Economy Survey
until completion of its final report.
b. Executive Order 01.01.1970-08, which was
issued on May 29, 1970 and created the
Governor's Commission to Study
Compensation for State Employees.
c. Executive Order 01.01.1971.12, which was
issued on May 28, 1971 and assigned the
Commission on Negro History and Culture
to the Department of Economic and
Community Development.
d. Executive Order 01.01-1971.15, which was
issued on June 15, 1971 and abolished
the Maryland State Advisory Council on
Vocational and Technical Education and
transferred its property to the Maryland
State Advisory Council on
Vocational—Technical Education.
e. Executive Order 01.01.1971.19, which was
issued on December 27, 1971 and
reassigned the Commission on Negro
History and Culture to Morgan State
College.
f. Executive Order 01.01,1972.12, which was
issued on June 28, 1972 and created the
Commission on Judicial Reform.
g. Executive Order 01.01.1973.01, which was
issued on January 2, 1973 and ordered a
legislative districting hearing to be
held.
h. Executive Order 01.01.1973.03, which was
issued on January 19, 1973 and
transferred the Commission on Aging to
