Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland, on November 2, 1976, an Act known as Chapter
696 of the Acts of 1975 was submitted to the voters of
Kent County, Maryland under the provisions of said
Chapter 696, said Act being as follows:
AN ACT concerning Kent County - Elected Board of
Education. For the purpose of providing for the
composition, election, term, salary, powers, and duties
of an elected Board of Education for Kent County;
providing that this Act is contingent upon a referendum
of the voters of Kent County; and generally relating to
an elected Board of Education for Kent County.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
2,715 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
696 and 1,119 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 696, the said Chapter 696 of the Acts of
1975 has therefore been ratified by the voters of Kent
County, Maryland.

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LASTS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23—11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland, on November 2, 1976, an Act known as Chapter
861 of the Acts of 1975 was submitted to the voters of
Prince George's County, Maryland under the provisions of
said Chapter 861, said Act being as follows:
AN ACT concerning Prince George's County - Conduct
of Business on Sundays. For the purpose of permitting
all businesses in Prince George's County to be open on
Sunday, permitting certain employees to choose as a day
of rest their Sabbath or Sunday, providing procedures for
observance of this day, providing criminal and civil
penalties for violations, and providing that no merchant
is required to be open on Sunday; and submitting this Act
