MARVIN MANDEL, Governor                       3937
House Bill No. 1900 - Maryland Register - Regulations AN ACT concerning Code of Maryland Regulations and
Maryland Register - Contents FOR the purpose of specifying that the General Assembly
may require that certain matters be included, and
that the Administrative, Executive, and Legislative
Review Committee may permit that certain matters be
included, in the Code of Maryland Regulations and
the Maryland Register. May 26, 1977
Honorable John Hanson Briscoe
Speaker of the House of Delegates
State House
Annapolis, Maryland 21404 Dear Mr. Speaker: In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill
1900. This bill specifies that the General Assembly may
require and the Administrative, Executive and Legislative
Review Committee may permit certain matters to be
included in the Code of Maryland Regulations and the
Maryland Register. Senate Bill 1000, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by Lieutenant Governor Blair Lee III
in his capacity as Acting Governor on May 17, 1977,
accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign House
Bill 1900.
Sincerely,
Marvin Mandel
Governor
