AN ACT concerning
Harford County - A Prize from a Nonfranchise
Retail Merchant
FOR the purpose of enabling a nonfranchise retail
merchant in Harford County to give prizes subject to
a condition; and clarifying language.

Dear Mr. President:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill

|
This bill authorizes a nonfranchise retail merchant
in Harford County to give away prizes subject to certain
conditions.
House Bill 271, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by Lieutenant Governor Blair Lee III
in his capacity as Acting Governor on April 29, 1977,
accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 292.
