RESOLVED, That we, the members of the General
Assembly of Maryland, in adopting this Resolution, hereby
adopt the "Bicentennial Patriots' Pledge" by Sara L.
Ensor as Maryland's official Bicentennial Patriots'
pledge and, in so doing, urge that all Maryland citizens
join in reaffirming their loyalty to America and to her
noble goals of freedom, equality, liberty, and
brotherhood by adopting this meaningful statement as
their own personal pledge for the future; and be it
further
