(Senate Joint Resolution 34)
A Senate Joint Resolution concerning
Crownsville Hospital Center
FOR the purpose of requesting the Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene to develop a comprehensive and
multipurpose program for Crownsville Hospital
Center; to make certain studies of redefinitions of
areas and identification of resources; and to report
to the General Assembly.
WHEREAS, Crownsville Hospital Center has experienced
a 64 percent decrease in patient population ever the last
ten years.; and
WHEREAS, For the last three years Crownsville
Hospital has been the subject of numerous studies in an
attempt to identify problems and develop solutions to
numerous difficulties involving the Center; and
