WHICH PARTICIPATES IN 5 PERCENT OR MORE OF THE CAPITAL OR
OF THE PROFITS OF A CONTRACTING BUSINESS ASSOCIATION
REGARDLESS OF THE PERCENTAGE OF OWNERSHIP INVOLVED; OR
(II) INTEREST THAT ENTITLES A PERSON TO
BENEFITS SUBSTANTIALLY EQUIVALENT TO OWNERSHIP BY REASON
OF ANY CONTRACT, UNDERSTANDING, RELATIONSHIP, AGREEMENT,
OR OTHER ARRANGEMENT EVEN THOUGH THE PERSON IS NOT THE
RECORD OWNER.
(3) UNLESS THERE ARE SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES,
OWNERSHIP INTERESTS HELD BY A PERSON'S SPOUSE, CHILDREN,
OR OTHER RELATIVES LIVING IN THE HOME, ARE BENEFICIALLY
OWNED BY THE PERSON.

|
(B) FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS
SECTION, ANY SERIES OF CONTRACTS OR AGREEMENTS ENTERED
INTO BY A CONTRAGTING BUSINESS ASSOCIATION WITHIN A ONE
YEAR PERIOD SHALL BE CONSIDERED AS A SINGLE CONTRACT OR
AGREEMENT AND THE REQUIRED DISCLOSURE SHALL BE MADE
WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF EXECUTION OF THE CONTRACT
OR AGREEMENT WHICH, WHEN ADDED TO CONTRACTS OR AGREEMENTS
ENTERED INTO DURING THE PRECEDING ONE-YEAR PERIOD,
PROVIDES FOR AN AGGREGATE PAYMENT IN EXCESS OF $10,000.
(C) (1) THE SECRETARY OF STATE SHALL PUBLISH
QUARTERLY IN THE MARYLAND REGISTER ANY LIST COMPILED
PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION.
(2) ANY EXPENSE FOR COMPILATION AND
PUBLICATION SHALL BE PAID FROM GENERAL FUND.

(D)(B) ANY BUSINESS ASSOCIATION, OR ANY OF ITS
OFFICERS, THAT VIOLATES OFFICERS THAT VIOLATE SUBSECTION
(A) OF THIS SECTION IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND IS
SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $10,000.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
256(b) of Article 41 - Governor-Executive and
Administrative Departments, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland 91971 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be
and it is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
Administrative Departments
256F.
(b) The Register shall include:
(1) Every document required to be published
in the Code of Maryland Regulation;
(2) Every notice of proposed agency rule
making or repeal;
(3) Every notice of public hearings issued
