DENTAL PROCEDURES ARE CARRIED OUT, AND, BEFORE DISMISSAL
OF THE PATIENT, EVALUATES PERFORMANCE OF THE DENTAL
HYGIENIST.
(B) A LICENSED DENTIST MAY NOT DIRECTLY OR
INDIRECTLY PERMIT A DENTAL HYGIENIST TO PRACTICE DENTAL
HYGIENE, EXCEPT:
(I) IN A PRIVATE, INDUSTRIAL, OR
GOVERNMENTAL DENTAL OFFICE OR DENTAL CLINIC; OR
(II) IN A HOSPITAL, SCHOOL OR CHARITABLE
INSTITUTION; OR
(III) IN A HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION,
AS; ALL AS PROVIDED BY SECTION 31 (B) OF THIS ARTICLE, AND
THEN, IN EACH INSTANCE, ONLY UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A
LICENSED DENTIST.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Former Judges - Temporary Recall
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Chief Judge of the
Court of Appeals temporarily to recall certain
Judges for a certain period to assume judicial
duties; providing for the compensation of recalled
Judges; and further providing for the effect of that
service on pensions, health and other benefits
received by those Judges; and generally relating to
the recall of retired judges.
