(E) THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY,
MAY ADOPT SUCH REFUND AND/OR APPEAL PROCEDURES FROM ANY
TAX. LEVIED AND IMPOSED PURSUANT TO THIS SECTION AS IS
CONSISTENT WITH THE APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND AND OF THE UNITED
STATES.
(F) THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY
MAY ALLOCATE AND DISTRIBUTE TO EACH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
IN THE COUNTY A PROPORTION OF THE REVENUES COLLECTED AS A
RESULT OF THE AUTHORITY OF THIS SECTION IN AMOUNTS BASED
ON A FAIR AND EQUITABLE FORMULA OR PERCENTAGE DEVELOPED
AND ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if any
provision of this Act or the application thereof to any
person or circumstance is held invalid for any reason,
the invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or
any other application of this Act which can be given
effect without the invalid provisions or application, and
to this end all the provisions of this Act are declared
to be severable.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1977.
