Insurance Code, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to
as follows:
Article 48A - Insurance Code
544.
(a) All payments of benefits prescribed under §539
shall be made periodically as the claims therefor arise
and within 30 days after satisfactory proof thereof is
received by the insurer subject to the following
limitations:
(1) The coverage described in §539 may
prescribe a period of not less than [six] 12 months after
the date of accident within which the original [proof of
loss with respect to a] claim for benefits must be
presented to the insurer.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County — Alcoholic Beverages
(Metric System Containers)
(PG 334-77)
FOR the purpose of changing the alcoholic beverage laws
applicable in Prince George's County pertaining to
the size of containers in which alcoholic beverages
are sold, except for wine and beer, in order to
comply with Federal Metric System requirements on
container sizes; and making this Act an emergency
measure.
