SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 4-734(a)(8) of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974
Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Article - Natural Resources
4-734.
(a) A person may not catch, sell, offer to buy or
sell, expose for sale, or possess any of the following
fish:
(8) Striped bass, [less] MORE than [12] 32
LESS THAN 12 inches in length [or weighing more than 15
pounds] OR MEASURING MORE THAN 32 INCHES. However, a
person may catch one striped bass over 15 pounds 32
INCHES per day with hook and line in the tidal waters of
the State at any time of the year except from March 1 to
April 30 inclusive, which may not be sold or offered for
sale.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Architectural and Engineering Services - Notice of
Waiver of Requirements for Procurement on a
Competitive Basis
FOR the purpose of requiring the transportation
professional services selection board and the
general professional services selection board under
certain circumstances to notify the Maryland
Register, at a certain time, and have readied for
printing, a statement announcing that the board has
waived the requirements for procurement on a
competitive basis for architectural and engineering
services, and stating the reasons for that waiver;
and clarifying language.
