SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977. Approved May 26, 1977.
CHAPTER 801 (House Bill 1115) AN ACT concerning Funding of Mental Retardation Facilities FOR the purpose of defining certain terms; providing that
certain funds may be received by certain facilities;
prohibiting the receipt of certain funds by certain
State employees; and relating generally to mental
retardation facilities. BY adding to Article 59A - Mental Retardation Section 3(q) and 38 Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Sections 3(q) and 38 be and they are
hereby added to Article 59A - Mental Retardation, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and
1976 Supplement) to read as follows: Article 59a - Mental Retardation 3. (Q) NONBUDGETED FUNDS MEANS THOSE FUNDS THAT ARE
AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC FACILITIES BUT ARE NOT PART OF
THE STATE'S APPROPRIATION PROCESS.
