AN ACT concerning
Anne Arundel County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Procedure for Issue of Licenses; Notice
on the Premises)
FOR the purpose of including Anne Arundel County among
those subdivisions whose Board of License
Commissioners, prior to issuance of an Alcoholic
Beverage License, shall cause notice to be posted
upon the premises described in the application for a
certain time; and clarifying structure and language.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 60(b)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 60(b) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

60.
(b) (1) If the application [be] IS in [Baltimore
City, or in Allegany, Baltimore, Washington, or Prince
George's counties,] THE SUBDIVISIONS ENUMERATED IN THIS
SUBSECTION, the board shall cause a suitable sign or
notice to be posted and to remain posted for a period of
ten days in a conspicuous place upon the premises
described in the application[, said] THE posting [to]
SHALL be done at least ten days before action upon [such]
THE application, and [said] THE notice shall also specify
the class of license applied for and the time and place
fixed by the board for hearing upon the application.
(2) (I) THE PROVISIONS Of THIS SUBSECTION
APPLY IN THE FOLLOWING SUBDIVISIONS.
