AN ACT concerning
Adult Protective Services
FOR the purpose of providing for the protection and
administration of the property of a disabled person;
defining certain terms; establishing the procedure
for the appointment of a guardian; enumerating the
powers and duties of a guardian; including the
termination of a guardianship; providing for
emergency protective services; providing that only
certain institutions or facilities may be for
providing services to certain persons under certain
circumstances; establishing a protective services
program; establishing a Disabled Persons Review
Board; and generally relating to all provisions and
functions for the administration and protection of a
disabled person and the property of a disabled
person.
