shall be paid by such city, town or county, under such
arrangements therefor as it may make with or as may be
satisfactory to the [Board] DIVISION of Correction.
724.
The State [Roads Commission] HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION,
and each county, city or town, as the case may be, shall
pay to the [Board] DIVISION of Correction, for each
prisoner assigned to and employed by it, respectively, as
aforesaid, such sum as may be agreed upon with the
[Board] DIVISION of Correction per day for each and every
day that such prisoner is so employed; from which sum,
such payments as the [Board] DIVISION of Correction may
determine shall be held by it to the credit of the
prisoner for whose account the same are made, and be paid
to him upon his release or discharge, or the [said Board]
DIVISION, in its discretion, may from time to time pay
such portion of said payments as it may deem proper to
the wife, children or other person or persons dependent
upon such prisoner, if found to be in need by the [said
Board] DIVISION, and hold the balance of such payments to
the credit of the prisoner. The [said Board] DIVISION
may make such rules and regulations with respect to the
collection and disbursement of said payments as may be
necessary or proper.
726.
All expenses and disbursements incurred, under §
723, by the [Board] DIVISION of Correction, for the
guarding, transportation, lodging, feeding, clothing, and
medical and other care and attention of prisoners working
under §§ 719 to 726 for the State [Roads Commission]
HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION, shall be paid out of any moneys
in the treasury available therefor and not otherwise
appropriated, or out of any moneys appropriated for such
purpose; in the latter event such payments to be made,
from time to time, on the order of the executive
committee of the Maryland Council of Defense, by and with
the sanction and approval of the Governor, such orders to
be directed to the Comptroller, who shall draw his
warrant upon the treasury for the amount thereof, as in
law provided. The several counties, cities and towns
are, respectively, authorized and empowered to make any
and all appropriations, assessments and levies necessary
to enable them, respectively, to pay the expenses and per
diem payments which § 719 to 726 authorize or direct them
to pay, in case § 722 is availed of by them. The per
diem payments which are to be made by the State [Roads
Commission] HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION, under § 724, shall be
paid out of that [Commission's] ADMINISTRATION'S
appropriation.

(e) "Criminal history record information" means
data initiated or collected by a criminal justice agency
