(C) SALARY.
THE ADMINISTRATOR IS ENTITLED TO THE SALARY PROVIDED
IN THE STATE BUDGET.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 41,
§207D(a) — except for the first sentence of
that section, which now appears as §7—201 of
this subtitle.
The provisions of present §207D(a) that deal
with the "incumbent general manager of the
Metropolitan Transit Authority as of June 30,
1971" are deleted as now obsolete.
The provisions of the first sentence of
present Art. 64B, §6(b) - which provide that
the Administrator, as "chief administrative
officer", is responsible "for all activities
of the Administration", subject to the "policy
direction" of the Secretary - are deleted as
unnecessary and repetitious of the provisions
of this section.
The provisions of the second sentence of
present Art. 64B, §6(b) now appear in §7—206
of this title.
Present §207D(b) and (e) are deleted as
obsolete. Present §207D(c) and (d) now appear
in §7-212 of this subtitle.

Administrator from office, see, also,
§2-102(e) of this article.
7-203. MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL OF ADMINISTRATION.
(A) GENERAL EXERCISE OF POWERS AND DUTIES.
THE EXERCISE OF THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE
ADMINISTRATION IS SUBJECT TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE
SECRETARY AND, WHERE APPLICABLE, THE MARYLAND
TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY.
(B) EXERCISE OF CERTAIN POWERS AND DUTIES SUBJECT
TO PRIOR APPROVAL.
(1) THE EXERCISE OF THE POWERS AND DUTIES
