AN ACT concerning
Hunting - Antlerless Deer Permit
FOR the purpose of requiring that residents of a county
in this State receive first consideration for an
antlerless deer permit if they hunt in their county
of residence; and providing that a State resident
shall have consideration for this permit over a
nonresident of the State.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 10-308(e) be and it is hereby
added to Article - Natural Resources, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement) to
read as follows:
Article - Natural Resources
10-308.
(E) UNLESS EXPRESSLY EXEMPTED UNDER THIS SECTION,
A RESIDENT OF ANY COUNTY IN THIS STATE SHALL RECEIVE
FIRST CONSIDERATION FOR AN ANTLERLESS DEER PERMIT TO HUNT
IN HIS COUNTY OF RESIDENCE, AND A STATE RESIDENT SHALL
RECEIVE CONSIDERATION FOR THIS PERMIT OVER ANY
NONRESIDENT OF THE STATE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
