regardless of where requirements, ordinances, regulations
or statutes are set forth, remain reserved to city and
county government.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977. Approved May 26, 1977.
CHAPTER 699 (Senate Bill 271) AN ACT concerning General Assembly — legislative Accounting Office FOR the purpose of requiring the Legislative Accounting
Office to report to the President of the Senate and
Speaker of the House of Delegates certain
information regarding payments made from
appropriations for legislative expenses of the
General Assembly. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 19 — Comptroller Section 9 Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement)
BY adding to Article 40 - General Assembly Section 62(c) Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 9 of Article 19 - Comptroller, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume
and 1976 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows: Article 19 — Comptroller 9. [(a)] He shall within ten days after the third
Monday in January make to the legislature and to the
Governor an annual report of the fiscal operations of the
State for the fiscal year ending on the thirtieth day of
