CHAPTER 669
(House Bill 2085)
AN ACT concerning
Calvert County - Road Construction Districts
FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners
to establish road construction districts in Calvert
County and to approve road construction or repair
projects; providing for a public hearing and notice
to property owners of the hearing, advertisement for
bids and letting of contract; providing for a
benefit change charge on all real property in the
district to meet the interest and principal on a
debt created costs of the project, including certain
interest if a debt is created by the County
Commissioners charges, and certain administrative
costs; providing for repayment of costs by the
property owners by means of a benefit charge on each
lot which shall constitute a lien on the property;
providing for taking roads into the county road
system under certain circumstances by deed of the
property owners or by condemnation; and generally
relating to the road construction program.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 155A be and it is hereby added
to Article 25 — County Commissioners, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume and 1976
Supplement) to read as follows:
