AN ACT concerning
St. Mary's County - Court Stenographer;
Director of Finance; Administrative
Assistant; Classified Service
FOR the purpose of repealing several obsolete sections of
the public local laws of St. Mary's County relating
to the Court Stenographer, the Director of Finance,
the Administrative Assistant to the County
Commissioners, and the Classified Service of St.
Mary's County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 7, 8 through 15, 28, and 43
through 46 of the Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County
being Article 19 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1965 Edition and 1974 Supplement, as amended) be and
they are hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Interim Flood Hazard Area Maps
FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Natural
Resources to prepare interim flood hazard area maps;
requiring that the map be adopted as a rule or
regulation within a certain time of the date of the
hearing; and requiring subdivisions to adopt rules
and regulations governing uses for interim flood
areas within a certain time after adoption of a map
as a regulation of the Department of Natural
Resources.
