SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Civil Immunity — Taking Blood Samples
for the Purpose of Criminal Investigation
FOR the purpose of providing that certain persons are
immune from civil liability for the act of complying
with a request or directive of certain officers to
take blood samples and make tests of it under
certain circumstances; specifying that this immunity
does not extend to protect a person from taking
blood in a negligent or reckless manner; and
changing the style of expression of language in the
Annotated Code of Maryland.

reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
