(C) SALARY.
|

|
THE ADMINISTRATOR IS ENTITLED TO THE SALARY PROVIDED
IN THE STATE BUDGET.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 41,
§207C(a) — except for the first sentence of
that section, which now appears as §6-201 of
this subtitle.
The provisions of present §207C(a) that deal
with the "incumbent Executive Director of the
Maryland Port Authority as of June 30, 1971"
are deleted as now obsolete.
Present §207C (b) and (e) are deleted as
obsolete. Present §207C(c) and (d) now appear
in §6—213 of this subtitle.
As to the possible removal of the
Administrator from office, see, also,
§2-102(e) of this article.
6-203. MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL OF ADMINISTRATION.
(A) GENERAL EXERCISE OF POWERS AND DUTIES.
THE EXERCISE OF THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE
ADMINISTRATION IS SUBJECT TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE
SECRETARY AND, WHERE APPLICABLE, THE MARYLAND
TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY.
(B) EXERCISE OF CERTAIN POWERS AND DUTIES SUBJECT
TO PRICE APPROVAL.

(1) THE EXERCISE OF THE POWERS AND DUTIES
VESTED IN THE ADMINISTRATION BY THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS OF
THIS TITLE IS SUBJECT TO THE PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE
SECRETARY OR, WHERE APPLICABLE, THE MARYLAND
TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY:
(I) §6-205 {"GENERAL POWERS OF ADMINISTRATION
SUBJECT TO PRIOR APPROVAL"}:
(II) §6-208 {"CONTRACTS IN GENERAL"};
(III) §6-209 {"CONTRACTS BIDDING AND OTHER
REQUIREMENTS"};
(IV) §6-211 {"CONTROL OF MOTOR VEHICLES AT
PORT FACILITIES"} AND
(V) §6-301 {"ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY BY
PURCHASE OR CONDEMNATION"}.
(2) BY REGULATION OR DIRECTIVE, THE SECRETARY
OR THE MARYLAND TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY, AS THE CASE MAY
