AN ACT concerning
Cecil County — Elections
FOR the purpose of repealing certain provisions relating
to the election laws in Cecil County that are
obsolete or conflict with the provisions of Article
33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
BY repealing
The Public Local Laws of Cecil County
Section 6-2 and 6-3
Article 8 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1970 Edition and 1975 Supplement, as amended)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 6-2 and 6-3 of the Public Local
Laws of Cecil County being Article 8 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1970 Edition and 1975 Supplement, as
amended) be and they are hereby repealed:
Article 3
[6-2
The judges of elections in the several election
districts in said county may, in their discretion,
appoint two of the constables of their respective
districts to attend on the days of election at the place
of receiving votes, for the purpose of preserving the
peace.]
