AN ACT concerning
Vehicles — Farm Tractor Registration
FOR the purpose of repealing those provisions of the law
relating to a special Class E "Farm Tractor" vehicle
registration.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 13-925 of Article
Transportation, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (As
enacted by Chapter______of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1977) be and it is hereby repealed:

13-925.
[(a) On application, the administration shall issue
a special class E "farm tractor" registration to any
applicant who certifies that the vehicle is a farm
tractor operated by a farmer in connection with his
farming operations.
(b) (1) Except as provided in item (2) of this
subsection, for each farm tractor, the annual
registration fee is $5.
(2) No registration fee is required:
(i) For a farm tractor, if it is being
used to haul a farm wagon or equipment in connection with
farming operations; or
(ii) For a farmer's trailer, if it is
being drawn by a farm tractor on a highway for less than
5 miles.]
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
