SUBTITLE 1. DEFINITIONS; GENERAL PROVISIONS.
6-101. DEFINITIONS.
(A) IN GENERAL.
IN THIS TITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS
INDICATED.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 62B, §4(a).
The present phrase, "unless the context shall
indicate another or different meaning or
intent", is deleted as unnecessary.
The only other changes are in style.

applicable definitions.
(B) ADMINISTRATION.
"ADMINISTRATION" MEANS THE MARYLAND PORT
ADMINISTRATION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 62B, §4(b).
The term "Authority", which is defined in
present Art. 62B, §4(b) as synonymous with
"Administration", is deleted as unnecessary
since all references in this title to the
former Maryland Port Authority are replaced by
"Administration", representing the correct
name of the unit, as changed by Ch. 526, Acts
of 1970.
Also deleted as unnecessary is the present
reference to the statute by which the
Administration is established (see, §6-201 of
this title).
The only other changes are in style.
(C) ADMINISTRATOR.
"ADMINISTRATOR" MEANS THE MARYLAND PORT
ADMINISTRATOR.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added to avoid unnecessary repetition in this
title of the full title of the Administrator.
