(House Bill 1403)
AN ACT concerning
Cecil County - Alcoholic Beverages
(Special Class T License)
FOR the purpose of permitting the issuance of a special
license in Cecil County; certain procedures for
issuing the license; certain fees which apply;
certain restrictions upon the issuance; and
generally relating to a special Class T alcoholic
beverage license.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 25(d-1)(3) be and it is hereby
added to Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1976 Replacement Volume and
1976 Supplement) to read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
25.
(d-1) (3) IN CECIL COUNTY, THE CLERK OF THE COURT,
UPON APPROVAL OF THE BOARD MAY GRANT A SPECIAL CLASS T
LICENSE. THE LICENSE SHALL BE IN THE FORM PRESCRIBED BY
THE BOARD. THE APPLICANT SHALL SIGN AND SHEAR TO THE
LICENSE. THE CLASS T LICENSE PERMITS THE HOLDER TO
CONDUCT WINE TASTING PARTIES AND DEMONSTRATIONS. THE FEE
IS $25 PER LAY AND SHALL BE PAID PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF
THIS LICENSE. THIS LICENSE. MAY NOT BE ISSUED TO ANY
PERSON MORE THAN FOUR TIMES IN ANY CALENDAR YEAR. THE
TOTAL NUMBER OF DAYS AUTHORIZED BY THE CLASS T LICENSE
FOR ANY PERSON MAY NOT EXCEED FOUR IN A CALENDAR YEAR.
