MARVIN MANDEL, Governor
department or officer authorized by law to make rules or
to adjudicate contested cases, except those in the
legislative or judicial branches, and except the [Board
of Parole] MARYLAND PAROLE COMMISSION, the [Department of
Parole and Probation] DIVISION OF PAROLE AND PROBATION,
the Workmen's Compensation Commission, the State Accident
Fund, the State Insurance Department of Maryland, the
Public Service Commission, the Employment Security Board
and the State Tax Commission. The Maryland Automobile
Insurance Fund shall not be considered an "agency" within
the meaning of this section as to any matter or action
with regard to which the Insurance Commissioner has made
an express, written finding or determination that
compliance with the provisions of the Administrative
Procedure Act and/or the State Documents Law by the
Maryland Automobile Fund is unnecessary. 266A-3. (a) (2) The board of directors shall govern the
authority and exercise its powers by resolution. A
resolution adopted by the board of directors is
equivalent to adoption of an ordinance [of] OR resolution
by a municipality or county for purposes of those
sections of the Code. 266P. Subject to the authority and powers of the Secretary
of Economic and Community Development set forth in the
laws of Maryland, the Authority may: (10) Purchase, acquire, or take assignments of
notes, mortgages, and other forms of security and
evidences of indebtedness; purchase, acquire, attach,
seize, accept, or take title to any industrial project by
conveyance or, when an insured or partially insured
mortgage thereon is clearly in default, by foreclosure;
and sell, lease, or rent an industrial project for a use
specified in § [260—O] 266-O or any other use; 468. (d) If any member of the Authority whose signature
or a facsimile of whose signature appears on any tends or
coupons ceases to be A member of the Authority before the
delivery of the bonds, the signature or facsimile is
nevertheless valid and sufficient for all purposes as if
he had remained in office until delivery. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Subtitle
"39B Commission on Indian Affairs" of Article 41 —
Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and
1976 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, without amendments.
