|
The provisions of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland[ , now in force or hereafter enacted,] applicable
to collectors of State and county taxes, except when the
same are repealed by or are inconsistent with the
provisions of this Act, shall be held to apply to the
[Treasurer] FINANCE OFFICER of Talbot County, who, as to
his powers, rights, duties and liabilities, both civil
and criminal, and those of his bond or bondsmen shall be
in all respects in the same position as State and county
collectors of taxes, except as herein provided.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

FOR the purpose of making certain changes in yearly
license fees for vehicle dealers and salesmen.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article — Transportation
Section 15-307(b)(1) and 15-406(b)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 15-307(b)(1) and 15-406(b) of
Article - Transportation, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (As enacted by Chapter _____ of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1977) be and they are hereby repealed
and reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

15-307.
(b) (1) The annual license fee is:
(i) For a license to deal only in
trailers or semitrailers 15 feet or less in length, or
only in boat trailers of any size - $10; [and]
