SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 10-109 be and it is hereby
added to Article — Real Property, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement) to read as
follows:
Article - Real Property
10-109.
(A) IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTIES, A CONTRACT OF SALE OF REAL PROPERTY SHALL
DISCLOSE TO THE INITIAL PURCHASER OF IMPROVED RESIDENTIAL
PROPERTY THE ESTIMATED COST OF ANY DEFERRED WATER AND/OR
AND SEWER CONNECTION CHARGE CHARGES FOR WHICH THE
PURCHASER MAY BECOME LIABLE.
(B) VIOLATION OF THIS SECTION SHALL ENTITLE THE
INITIAL PURCHASER TO RECOVER FROM THE SELLER TWO TIMES
THE AMOUNT OF DEFERRED CHARGES HE IS REQUIRED TO PAY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
