REPAID UPON RECEIPT OF THE FINAL FEDERAL FUNDS. THE
TREASURER SHALL PRESCRIBE THE PROCEDURES, TERM, INTEREST
RATE, SERVICE CHARGE, AND OTHER CONDITIONS OF THE
INVESTMENT OR REINVESTMENT. ANY INVESTMENT OR
REINVESTMENT IN EXCESS OF AN AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF $500,000
SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 564 of Article 43 - Health, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and
1976 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

An advisory board on hospital licensing of [nine
(9)] 12 11 members, each of whom shall hold office for a
period of (5) years, shall be appointed by the Secretary
of Health and Mental Hygiene to make recommendations to
the Secretary of Health, and Mental Hygiene on the
issuance or denial of licenses, the establishment of
minimum regulations, and applications for approval of
construction involving conversions, alterations, or
additions under the provisions of this subtitle and any
