LAWS OF MARYLAND
(a) The Board may establish mandatory continuing
education requirements for podiatrists licensed in this
State as a condition to their being registered in
accordance with this subtitle. [(b) This section does not apply to registrants who
pay their annual license fee but do not practice in
Maryland during the year. (c) Any individual applying for initial registration
under this subtitle shall be exempted from this
requirement, and the Board may, at its discretion,
register any licensee if the licensee proves subsequent
compliance with the provisions of this section.] [(d)](B) Each podiatrist shall complete and
return to the Board, with his annual license fee, any
form provided by the Board requesting certification and
description of the continuing education programs attended
during the year.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977. Approved May 17, 1977.
