(House Bill 489)
AN ACT concerning
Fisheries — Surf Clams and Ocean Quahogs
FOR the purpose of requiring certain persons to obtain a
license to catch ocean quahogs SURF CLAMS and to
land surf clams and ocean quahogs and setting
certain fees; setting a minimum size limit for surf
clams; enabling the Department of Natural Resources
to open and close harvesting areas for surf clams in
accordance with certain procedures; deleting certain
obsolete provisions relating to rule-making; and
renumbering certain provisions.
