SUBTITLE IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND ON CONVICTION IS
SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $500 OR IMPRISONMENT NOT
EXCEEDING SIX MONTHS OR BOTH.
SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections
379A, 380, and 385A, respectively, of Article 43 -
Health, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and they are
hereby renumbered to be Sections 377, 378, and 382,
respectively.

shall take effect July 1, 1977.

FOR the purpose of authorizing insurers to issue certain
simplified comprehensive policies of insurance;

Insurance Commissioner; and subjecting these
policies to regulation by the Insurance
Commissioner.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 490D be and it is hereby added
to Article 48A — Insurance Code, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) to
read as follows:
