AN ACT concerning
Optometry
FOR the purpose of revising the provisions relating to
optometry by defining certain terms; by repealing
certain obsolete provisions concerning the original
Board of Examiners in Optometry and original
licensees, the collection of moneys by the Board and
duplicate penalty provisions; and by clarifying the
provisions for licensure; deleting a limitation on
membership on the Board; changing certain
compensation allowed to Board members; providing for
a reexamination fee; imposing requirements on
licensees whose license are not renewed for a
certain period of time; deleting certain
requirements for recordation of licenses and
providing for records kept by the Board; and
generally relating to practice of optometry in this
State.
