(A) ON APPLICATION OF THE DEPARTMENT, ACTING
THROUGH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, VERIFIED BY OATH, THE
CIRCUIT COURT FOR THE COUNTY WHERE A MINING OPERATION IS
LOCATED MAY, BY APPROPRIATE ORDER, ENFORCE COMPLIANCE
WITH OR ENJOIN THE VIOLATION OF ANY ORDER, NOTICE, RULE,
REGULATION OR PERMIT OF THE DEPARTMENT ISSUED UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE.
(B) THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION ARE NOT
INTENDED TO EXPAND THE AUTHORITY OF THE SECRETARY TO
ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 222(a) of Article 56 - Licenses,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement
Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

222.
(a) Every resident real estate broker shall
maintain a definite place of business in this State, and
shall conspicuously display therein the license of all
persons licensed to act as broker or salesman of such
