SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 404(b) of Article 41 -
Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and
1976 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Article 41 — Governor—Executive and
Administrative Departments
404.
(b) The Council shall receive for its purposes and
programs[, including the Baltimore Symphony and Center
Stage,] such funds as ARE provided TO THE COUNCIL in the
STATE budget from time to time.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

(House Bill 224)
AN ACT concerning
Maryland Industrial Development Financing
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Maryland Industrial
Development Financing Authority to consider various
factors in determining the economic impact of
industrial projects; requiring substantial economic
impact for those projects approved for insurance;
authorizing the Authority to make full payments on
mortgages regardless of the insured amount for a
certain temporary period and under other conditions;
eliminating an alternate ceiling on the aggregate
amount of the insured portion of principal
obligations outstanding; and renumbering certain
provisions and making style changes.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
