SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 4-404 be and it is hereby
added to Article——Courts and Judicial Proceedings, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1975
Supplement) Section 11-701 of Article - Courts and
Judicial Proceedings, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is hereby
repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

THE DISTRICT COURT SHALL HAVE THE SAME DISCRETION
AND POWERS AS COURTS OF GENERAL JURISDICTION TO ISSUE
APPROPRIATE ORDERS RELATING TO THE EXECUTION OF WRITS.

The District Court has the same power to enforce,
renew, revise, stay, set aside, or control its judgments
[and decrees], DECREES AND WRITS as any other court of
record in the state.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning

FOR the purpose of enabling the Secretary of Health and
Mental Hygiene to adopt procedures to obtain
information about diseases produced by toxic and
carcinogenic substances; requiring the Secretary to
publish a communicable disease bulletin; and
changing certain obsolete references to the State
Board of Health, renumbering certain provisions, and
making other style changes.
