AN ACT concerning
District Court Jurisdiction — Injunction for Enforcement
of Certain County or Municipal Codes
FOR the purpose of empowering the District Court to issue
injunctions to enforce county or municipal health,
housing, fire and building codes in actions brought
by a county, or municipality, or its appropriate
agents; and providing that this jurisdiction be
concurrent with that of the Circuit Court.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 4-401(7) be and it is hereby
added to Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976
Supplement) to read as follows:

(7) A PETITION FOR INJUNCTION FILED BY A
COUNTY OR MUNICIPALITY INCLUDING BALTIMORE CITY FOR THE
ENFORCEMENT OF ITS HEALTH, HOUSING, FIRE AND BUILDING
