of any recognized federal, State, or municipal
law—enforcement agency or educational institution;
(11) To consult and cooperate with
universities, colleges and institutions in the State for
the development of specialized courses of study for
police officers in police science and police
administration;
(12) To consult and cooperate with other
departments and agencies of the State concerned with
police training;
(13) To perform such other acts as may be
necessary or appropriate to carry out its functions and
duties as set forth in this section.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
Rape and Sexual Offenses — Admissibility
of Evidence
FOR the purpose of limiting and in certain instances
excluding, in a trial for a rape or sexual offence
in any degree offenses in certain degrees, certain
evidence concerning a victim's chastity and evidence
of prior sexual conduct; establishing procedures to
determine the admissibility of this evidence; and
generally relating to the admissibility of evidence.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 461A of Article 27 - Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
