2. With respect to the two four additional
Board positions created by the amendment contained in
Section 1 of this Act, the Court of Appeals shall
initially appoint one member for a term two members for
terms expiring December 31, 1980 and a second member for
a term and two members for terms expiring December 31,
1981. Upon the expiration of each of these terms, the
Court shall appoint or reappoint a person for a term of
five years.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977 January 1, 1978.

Vehicle Laws — Miscellaneous Prohibitions
FOR the purpose of revising, restating, and recodifying
by transfer to the Maryland Vehicle Law certain
provisions relating to the rental of vehicles and
the reporting of accidents; providing penalties as
to certain of these; repealing certain provisions
rendered obsolete or otherwise unnecessary and
superseded by provisions of the Maryland Vehicle
Law; and generally relating to vehicles and the
vehicle laws of this State.
