SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 6-408 be and it is hereby
added to Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 19 76
Supplement) to read as follows:
Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings
6-408.
FOR A PERIOD OF 30 DAYS AFTER THE ENTRY OF A
JUDGMENT, OR THEREAFTER PURSUANT TO MOTION FILED WITHIN
THAT PERIOD, THE COURT HAS REVISORY POWER AND CONTROL
OVER THE JUDGMENT. AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF THAT PERIOD
THE COURT HAS REVISORY POWER AND CONTROL OVER THE
JUDGMENT ONLY IN CASE OF FRAUD, MISTAKE, IRREGULARITY, OR
ERROR BY COURT PERSONNEL. FAILURE OF AN EMPLOYEE OF THE
COURT OR OF THE CLERK'S OFFICE TO PERFORM A DUTY REQUIRED
BY STATUTE OR RULE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

AN ACT concerning
St. Mary's County - Rescue Squads
FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners
of St. Mary's County to pay grant funds for the
services of active rescue squads from general county
funds as the Commissioners determine, regardless of
the number of calls responded to by such rescue
squads in a year.
