Prince George's County — Marriage License Fee
FOR the purpose of altering the fee imposed by the Prince
George's County Clerk of Court for performing
marriage ceremonies; and specifying how the fee is
to be allocated.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 3A(c)(6) be and it is hereby
added to Article 62 — Marriages, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) to
read as follows:
Article 62 — Marriages
3A.
(C) (6) IN PRICE GEORGE'S COUNTY THE FEE IS $15.
OF THIS FEE, $5 $3 SHALL BE RETAINED BY THE CLERKS; $7 $9
SHALL BE RETAINED GENERALLY AND $3 SHALL BE RETAINED IN A
SPECIAL FUND FOR THE PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY COMMITTEE OF
THE MARYLAND HISTORICAL TRUST.
